Privacy Policy

MyTiyul (mytiyul.co.il) is a family trip-planning tool. This page explains what data is stored, why, and what you can do about it.

What we store

• Account details: when you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile photo. We never receive or store your password.
• Trip data: what you enter or create in the app – destinations, dates, places, lists and plans.
• No cookies: a sign-in token is kept in your browser (localStorage) so you stay signed in, and your browser keeps a copy of your trip and its photos so the plan works offline. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Why

Only to run the service: saving your trips, showing them to you and to anyone you send the link to, and generating trip suggestions. Note: anyone with a trip's link can view it without signing in; only you can edit it. We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or train models on it.

Third-party services

• Google – sign-in (Google Sign-In) and place information (Google Places).
• Anthropic (Claude) – generating trip suggestions. Only trip content is sent, never your name or email.
• Vercel – hosting the site.
• Upstash – the database where trips are stored.
• Unsplash, OpenStreetMap, Open-Meteo – destination photos, maps and weather. Your browser contacts them directly, so they see your IP address.
• AeroDataBox – flight details, when you enter a flight number.

Each provider has its own privacy policy. Data may be processed outside Israel, mainly in the United States.

Retention

Data is kept while your account is active, or until you delete a trip or ask us to delete your account.

Your rights

You can delete any trip yourself from "My trips". You can also request a copy of your data, a correction, or full deletion of your account and trips by emailing the address below. We will handle requests within 30 days.

Children

Accounts are intended for adults. Children may appear in a trip as part of the family but are not asked to create an account.
